Pour It Forward: Glass Half Full

Did you know the planet is facing a global sand shortage? Sand is CRITICAL for rebuilding the barrier islands and sandbars that protect our coast during hurricanes and tropical storms, and encourages wildlife survival.

Enter: Glass Half Full. Established in 2020, GHF has recycled over 14 million pounds of glass across 3 states & they’ve created 4 islands used for coastal restoration research!

GHF collects and sorts glassware at their facilities, pulverizes it, and turns that glass into sand products.

10% of July’s profit’s will be donated to their organization, to support their incredible work across Mississippi, Alabama, and of course our home state Louisiana!
